London’s Congress of Black Women recently organized a series of events under the theme ‘Light out of Darkness,’ to commemorate the bicentennial anniversary of the passing of the Abolition of the Slave Trade Act by the British parliament. A sterling performance of music and storytelling by Tiki was followed up by a march and church service.
